it's the little things in life for sure!

pizza pops - something fun i created! take a dairy case pizza crust, cut it into 8 pieces, you don't have to be all neat on this next part - smush them into cupcake tins, put 2 slices of pepperoni (or more if you like) in the bottom of the dough, then add shredded mozzarella cheese on top, cook at 425 for 6 minutes (don't even think about leaving the oven - they will burn if left any longer). heat pizza sauce or marinara in the microwave - then dunk and enjoy!!

christmas cookie swap!! so exciting!

so, i participated in a cookie swap for the first time this year with the sits girls! here are the cookies I made and mailed -

they are benne seed wafers made famous in charleston, south carolina by the folklore of african slaves that came over bringing the benne seed (also known as sesame seeds) that when planted are believed to bring good luck. my partner was Traci in Utah! i sure hope she liked them!
****update 010413**** i never received an email nor cookies from Traci in Utah, needless to say, I was very disappointed.

i so love the little things in life

 i am making stockings to put in my shop for the christmas
these grow like crazy, a friend gave me a clipping and look what it's done! aren't the babies cute : ) hooray! they grow year round here.

and my thanksgiving cactus is right on target to bloom between thanksgiving and christmas. yay, life is good.

 so thankful i have orders to fill - thank you kind supporters.

i stood in line at the post office and you know, the atmosphere is always doom and gloom -- why? i don't understand. i smiled and spoke in happy tones but to no avail. i will include them in my prayers for sure.
