i love the simple things in life, always have!

boiled peanuts!! in december! i couldn't believe it, they were so good! they were at a road side stand on the way to the beach.

i scored these at a thrift store for $1 and less for each!

my friend liz made this and sent it to me for another friends new baby! i can't wait to show you pictures of him with it on!

so I grabbed this by accident this morning and sprayed the crap outta my hair thinking it was hairspray - cracked me up!

this week my handsome oldest nephew turned 21, i can't even believe it. he's a junior at UNC.

my niece was in a play at matthews playhouse in matthews, nc. she's only 11 years old!

i saw butterflies at the nearby arboretum

i enjoyed hanging out with  my canine babies, yes annie needs a haircut for sure.

i went to the monthly pampered chef meeting - it was a very fun time!
