this week my handsome oldest nephew turned 21, i can't even believe it. he's a junior at UNC.
today it's 77, breezy, sunshining, almost perfect - only lacking the ocean. my little ones and i sure are enjoying it - everything seems to go best for us when the sun shines! this photo wasn't taken today, but it was in the last week or so

didn't even make time to personalize annie's stocking :(
so, annie & i have our same little routine in the mornings ~ today, i actually got up when the alarm went off, exercised, etc . . . the usual, take my time kinda morning i like (if i have to be up before the chickens - i much rather sleep all day)then i cut my blow dryer on and it's on for a split second, then nothing, dead, nada, no go ~ i go to work with wet hair ~ that's after i scrape frost off my car windows ~ i know it could be worse, not a fun way to start a monday morning though. i googled bad hair day and i couldn't pick just one photo - - i actually looked worse than these ALL day!
Today when I picked Annie up from daycare they sent home a tiny styrofoam container (like they use to give you in elementary school with the little wooden spoon)that had homemade frozen yogurt for Annie's after supper snack, the recipe is even on the cutest card! Now wasn't that sweet!
I went to Petco at lunch, needed Annie's Bil-Jac, and they sell a wide variety of what look like handmade treats by the pound. I just gave her 3, she didn't know I was watching her, and she was so excited, running around, playing with them, throwing them in the air. Now she's finished and she came over sniffing all around for more. Oh - - she liked the frozen yogurt too!

Annie has been going to Ruff Housing twice a week (that's all I can afford at the moment). She LOVES it and thinks she is going everyday. She wakes me up at the crack of dawn barking and running back and forth from the door to me (TRYING to sleep)! Just like Lassie. Yesterday she was driving me crazy crying, running to the door - so I called and they were full, I went ahead and asked if they had room for her today - - and HOORAY they did. So, of course same thing this morning, only I was able to take her. She was sooooo excited. I'm happy too because I can get some much needed housework done. She's afraid of the vacuum and carpet cleaner so off I go - - just call me Cinderella!
