yep, the off brand tooth whitening toothpaste at dollar tree cleans silver and silver plated items perfectly. it doens't have any grit, just smooth, great smelling toothpaste. use it the same way you would polish. i rubbed it on, let it dry, then rinsed it off. this photo doesn't show how great it looks after the fact, but it truly looks much better.
