WISDOM by Abraham Lincoln
~ You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
~ You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
~ You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
~ You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
~ You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
~ You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
~ You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Every state that has voted blue in the last few years are deep in debt.
The red states are doing better & not deep in debt.
It is the disadvantaged who habitually elect Democrats------yet they are still disadvantaged...

~ 2008 election ~ interesting info ~ a must read ~
12/6/07
take a moment to vote

I received this from a friend (VT alum)today that received from a friend of hers whose son attends Virginia Tech:
Hey Dad,
Will you forward this to some of your friends? We really want the VT professor to win this; he is the man who died blocking the door to protect his students from
the gunman on 4/16/07. Ironic that he survived the holocaust, and not on an April day teaching a class. Please go to this site and vote for the VT Professor who sacrificed his life for his students; we can't let Angelina Jolie win this thing.
