more info on the tv digital converter boxes

my cards - worth $40 each came in less than a week. the converters run from $50+ and if you watch the sales the stores will put them down to $40. CVS in particular did recently but had a brand I didn't recognize,Greig or Craig. They usually get reg brands in though.
Be careful b/c the gov cards (they're just like a gift card but have an expiration)only last 90 days after issued.
If all works like I plan I'll be getting rid of cable, get a wireless card for my laptop, have my cell phone and maybe save some bucks.
I saw on TV today that you have to have some rabbit ears too??? They look way different from what we had years ago,sure hope they work better than those did - good gosh weren't they horrible!
